Rise Against reveal cryptic message on website, to release new song tomorrow

If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that Rise Against‘s music is gotten definitively more melodic since the band released Appeal To Reason in 2008. Of course, “Help Is On The Way” and their Avengers soundtrack single “Dirt and Roses” was slightly heavy, but today the band are streaming their next single to Wolves, out next week (June 9).

The track is titled “Welcome to the Breakdown” and is one heavy “fuck you” to America’s government. It’s a mix of sound between the band’s single “Help Is On The Way” and their 2006 major label debut, The Sufferer & The Witness. The entire track rips and even closes with vocalist Tim McIlrath’s vicious screaming.

Listen to the song below and check out the band’s previous singles, “The Violence” and “House On Fire.”
