Pure Noise Records and Sony Music have just launched a new record label called Weekday Records. Their first signings are Jule Vera and Lydia.

Jake Round, founder of Pure Noise, is partnering with Sony Music to discover and develop new music acts that are outside the realm of the traditional punk genre that Pure Noise is associated with. Today, it was announced that Jule Vera will be the first release under Weekday Records and that her first single will be “Lifeline,” coming from her upcoming full-length that is due out later this year.

Lydia will also be releasing a new album later this year. Find more on Weekday Records over at their website.
